No matter what your age, painting is always fun. There are no rules~ so just have fun with it! Home made art is the best kind. You can make your own art gallery to display the talents of the family!

For the younger kids finger paints are the best. Kids love getting messy and using their hands. I found this great recipe for home made finger paint .

• 1 cup of cold water

• 1/4 cup of cornstarch
• 1 tablespoon of light corn syrup
• Washable, nontoxic tempera paint
• Bowls
• Finger-paint paper or freezer paper
• Masking tape

Then get some paper and let them go nuts! You will love what they come up with! 

For the older family members, go to Hobby Lobby or Michael’s and get canvas, paints, brushes, and paper.  You can get inspiration from art books or just let your imagination take over and paint an abstract. Whatever you choose it will turn out great, I promise!
